This location is a great place to buy any type of formal dress for any occasion. I have family that comes down from Houston to buy their formal wear here because the selection and prices are great. This family owned business is ready to help you find a dress and make any needed alterations within a timely manner. Highly recommend them to anyone in need of prom, quincinera, weddings and etc.
The wedding/formal wear business is a hard business full of bridezillas and overwrought customers as you can see from some of these reviews. Some people left reviews who never shopped there. I don't envy anyone who makes a living in this field. That said, the staff at Wedding Lace are super professional and friendly. I was late getting a dress for my daughter to attend prom. We stopped by Wedding Lace first to see if they had anything. They did. A ton of dresses and many of them on sale. My daughter picked a dress that was on sale (yes!) and we started the alterations. They had everything completed in time for prom. I'm glad I stopped by and I will be a repeat customer.

My sister is totally getting ripped off. My parents spent thousands in there growing up. They did all my pageant shopping. How money hungry can you be. All my sister wants is to take her deposit and put it on another dress. It isn't rocket science. She even choose local instead of corpus where she lives. Why should we try to keep local in business when they act like this. David's bridal would have never done here like this. You guys suck and are over priced for sure. Do the right thing and give this girl her money on what she really wants or give her her deposit back so she can go elsewhere geez. So trying to rip set hard working people off .
First of all I went during Prom season which was a huge mistake as a bride they disregarded me and tended to the Prom people, even after being ignored I still purchase my dress from the store. I was out shopping for bridesmaid dresses and I found the dress that I purchased from wedding lace at another store for $99. So I contacted wedding lace asking them if they could transfer the money that I have given down on the wedding dress to another dress that was newer... after searching the wedding lace pictures I found the dress that I had purchased in a show 2014 (obviously years old) she said NO. So Im stuck with the decision of losing out on the money that I had already given (if I purchase the $99 dress at the other store) or spending $400 on a dress that has clearing been sitting in the store for 2 years. I am currently dealing with a few medical conditions. Dr visits plus medications are extremely expensive. I never thought dealing with a wedding dress during this time would be so hard. It's not like I asked for money back.. I was still going to purchase a wedding dress from them. I have tons of friends who stand beside me and have posted on Facebook, just to have their post deleted and us blocked. My sister bought her wedding dress there and I have set several other people there.. NEVER AGAIN! bad business... this should be a joyous time and wedding dresses are expensive... you shouldn't rip people off. All I wanted was for the wedding lace to make things right. I haven't got a phone call, text, email.... nothing from them.
